主要從事知識產權領域的各種法律工作，包括提供法律和政策意見、制定和推展立法建議、管理適用法律(包括《商標條例》、《專利條例》、《註冊外觀設計條例》、《版權條例》及《集成電路的布圖設計（拓樸圖）條例》)、履行類似司法職能並根據適用法律發出書面決定、向政府提供法律諮詢服務，以及提高公眾對於知識產權的創造、保護、管理和商品化方面的知識產權意識和素養，以支持進一步發展香港成為區域知識產權貿易中心。
職責
Mainly deployed to a variety of legal work in the intellectual property (IP) field covering provision of legal and policy advice, formulating and taking forward legislative proposals, administering the applicable legislation (including Trade Marks Ordinance, Patents Ordinance, Registered Designs Ordinance, Copyright Ordinance and Lay-out Design (Topography) of Integrated Circuits Ordinance), exercising quasi-judicial functions and handing down written decisions under the applicable legislation, providing legal advisory services to government, and promoting public awareness and literacy of IP issues ranging from creation, protection, management and commercialization of IP rights in support of further development of Hong Kong as a regional IP trading centre.

- (i)在香港取得律師資格；或
- (ii)在香港取得大律師資格和全面執業權後，具備一年專業經驗

(b)符合語文能力的要求，即在綜合招聘考試的英文運用試卷取得“二級”成績，以及在中文運用試卷取得“一級”成績

(c)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績

Candidates should be –
- (a)
- (i)solicitors admitted in Hong Kong; or
- (ii)barristers with one year’s professional experience since attaining the right to full practice in Hong Kong

- (b)have met the language proficiency requirements of ‘Level 2’ result in the Use of English (UE) paper and ‘Level 1’ result in the Use of Chinese (UC) paper in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE)

入職條件(註)
- (1)在香港有全面執業權，但在取得全面執業權後並無一年專業經驗的大律師亦可申請。如獲取錄，入職薪金會定於某個適當的薪點，較律師薪級的起薪點為低。
- (2)綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為“二級”、“一級”或“不及格”，並以“二級”為最高等級。
- (3)政府在聘任公務員時，語文能力要求的同等成績如下：

- (a)等同“二級” 成績
- (i)香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績；或
- (ii)香港高級程度會考英語運用科C級或以上成績；或
- (iii)General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level) English Language科C級或以上成績；或
- (iv)在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日(即2026年1月16日至30日)有效。
- (b)等同“一級” 成績
- (i)香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第4級成績；或
- (ii)香港高級程度會考英語運用科D級的成績；或
- (iii)GCE A Level English Language科D級成績
綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷
- (a)等同“二級” 成績
- (i)香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績；或
- (ii)香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科C級或以上的成績
- (b)等同“一級” 成績
- (i)香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第4級成績；或
- (ii)香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科D級的成績
- (4)政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
