• (a)Plan and manage school construction and infrastructure upgrading including liaison on allocation and development of sites;
• (b)evaluate the feasibility of the sites proposed for school development;
• (c)assess feasibility studies conducted by consultants and/or school sponsors; and
• (d)perform contract supervision, consultant management, budgetary control, liaison with various government department, bureaux and school sponsors on matters related to new school development and school infrastructure upgrading projects.

• (a)
  • (i)be Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, or Member of other recognized architect professional institutes, or equivalent; or
  • (ii)be Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (Structural or Civil Discipline) elected after 5 December 1975 or have qualification being recognized by HKIE as equivalent; or
  • (iii)be Corporate Member in the General Practice Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Surveyors (HKIS), or equivalent; or
  • (iv)be Corporate Member in the Quantity Surveying Division of HKIS, or Member of other recognized surveying professional institutes in an appropriate stream;
• (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (See Note 2) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and
• (c)proficiency in basic IT knowledge.

  • (ii)above, five years' relevant post-qualification experience (pqe) is required. For those at
• (a)
  • (iii), eight years' appropriate pqe in the field of Valuation and Estate Management/ Estate Agency/ Property Development is required. For those at
• (a)
  • (iv), seven years' appropriate pqe in the field of Quantity Surveying. Applicants with less experience may also apply but will be remunerated at the corresponding sub-entry point if selected.
