Senior Economist
總薪級表第45點（月薪89,565元）至總薪級表第49點（月薪103,190元）
職責
A Senior Economist is required to undertake economic research and analysis independently on a wide range of economic subjects and government policies and supervising the work of Economists.
入職條件
- (a)（一）本港大學所頒授的經濟學一級或二級榮譽學位，或同等學歷；或（二）本港大學所頒授與經濟學有關之學科的榮譽學位及經濟學碩士或以上學位，或同等學歷；
- (b)在綜合招招聘考試兩張語文試卷(包括中文運用及英文運用)中任何一張取得「二級」成績[見註(1)至(4)]；
- (c)具五年或以上的相關工作經驗[見註(5)]；
- (d)具優秀分析能力和人際技巧及良好溝通能力；及
- (e)具豐富高級量化研究及相關經驗並熟悉如何設立量化模型和制定指標者優先。
- (a)
- (i)A 1st or 2nd class honours degree in Economics from a Hong Kong university or equivalent; or
- (ii)An honours degree in a subject related to Economics and a postgraduate degree in Economics from a Hong Kong university or equivalent;
- (b)Attained Level 2 results in either of the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination [See Notes
- (1)to
- (4)below];
- (c)5 years or more relevant practical work experience [See Notes
- (5)below];
- (d)Strong analytical power, good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills; and
- (e)Strong background in high powered quantitative research studies as well as development of quantitative models and indicators is preferred.
入職條件(註)
- (1)綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。
- (2)香港高級程度會考英語運用科「C」級成績（或同等成績）會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。
- (3)在 International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在 IELTS 考試成績的兩年有效期內，會視為已符合高級經濟主任職位的英文語文能力要求。IELTS考試成績必須在職位開始接受申請的首天（即2013年8月9日）仍然有效。
- (4)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在基本法測試(學位╱專業程度職系)的表現，會用作評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素，但不會影響其申請公務員的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被聘用的主要因素。
