An Assistant Programme Officer (Learning Technology) is mainly deployed on (a) to coordinate Force's e-training and learning technology projects; and (b) to be responsible for the research and development of advanced learning technologies. (Note: May be required to work irregular hours.)

Candidates should have (a) a Degree in Information Technology from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (see Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; (c) at least 4 years' working experience in IT project development accumulated in one or more of the following areas: computer simulation, computer game technology, computer graphic design, web/network technologies and electronic mobile device technologies; and (d) knowledge of 3D animation, and/or proficiency in scenario-based training will be an advantage.
