技術主任(土木工程)主要負責以下工作
- (a)製備土木工程圖則及項目展覽及簡報工作；
- (b)進行有關工程測量及小規模土木工程方面的計算、設計及繪製工程圖表；
- (c)協助保養電腦系統及部門網頁；以及
- (d)協助培訓初級人員。
註：
獲取錄的申請人可能派往其他政府部門工作；及或須輪班或不定時工作、進行戶外工作、以及在颱風、天氣惡劣和其他緊急事故期間執行緊急和候召職務。
職責
A Technical Officer (Civil) is mainly deployed on the following types of work
- (a)preparing civil engineering drawings, project displays and presentation works;
- (b)making calculations, designs, and plotting related to engineering surveys and minor civil engineering works;
- (c)assisting in maintaining computer based information systems and departmental Homepage; and
- (d)assisting in the training of junior staff.
Note:
Selected candidates may be posted to other Government departments; and may be required to work shifts or irregular hours, perform outdoor duties, and perform emergency and on-call duties during typhoon, severe weather conditions and other emergency events.
入職條件
- (a)持有香港其中一間理工大學／理工學院、香港專業教育學院或工業學院／科技學院頒發的土木工程、結構工程或建築學文憑或高級證書，或具同等學歷；及
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績

- (a)obtained a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Building Studies from a Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) or a technical institute / technical college, or equivalent; and
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)

入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績或具同等成績。
- (2)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試，會被安排參加基本法筆試。筆試會於面試前或後舉行。申請人在基本法知識測試的表現，會用作評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素，但不會影響其申請公務員職位的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被聘用的主要因素。
