Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress (English Language)
總薪級表第15點 (每月港幣26,785元) 至總薪級表第29點 (每月港幣51,805元)。[參閱附註(b)及(c)]
職責
助理小學學位教師主要負責以下職務:
(a) 在官立小學任教高年級班別;以及
(b) 擔當領導角色,在官立小學積極推動落實各項教育新措施。
[備註:本局會根據官立小學不時調整的運作需要,以及獲取錄人員的學歷和經驗,調派他們任教指定科目。他們或須任教並非其在申請書內指明的科目。]
Assistant Primary School Masters/Mistresses are mainly deployed on the following types of duties –
(a) to teach senior classes in government primary schools; and
(b) to play an active and leading role in implementing the new education initiatives in government primary schools.
[Remarks : The Bureau, in deploying a successful candidate to a particular subject, will take into account the operational needs of government primary schools that may be adjusted from time to time, having regard to the candidate's qualification and experience. A successful candidate may be required to teach subjects other than those he/she has indicated in his/her application.]
入職條件
申請人必須:
(a) 持有香港頒授主修英國語文的小學教育學士學位,或同等學歷;以及
(b) 符合語文能力要求,即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷取得「二級」成績(該兩張試卷分別為中文運用及英文運用),或具備同等成績。[參閱註(1)至(4)]
(c) 在教師語文能力評核的英文科評核中成績達到「三級」或以上,或獲豁免符合該項語文能力要求。
[備註:上述入職條件適用於在二零零四/零五學年或其後聘用的英國語文科教師。如申請人是在二零零四/零五學年前已在本地公營學校及提供全面課程的私立日間小學任教的英文科常額教師,則須持有香港頒授的小學教育學士學位(或同等學歷),並須在綜合招聘考試及教師語文能力評核取得所需成績。未能憑學歷獲豁免語文能力要求的申請人,如在課堂語言運用以外的各項核心語文技巧(即閱讀、寫作、聆聽及口語)已達到基本語文能力要求,亦可應徵該職位。不過,他們須在受聘後一年內,在課堂語言運用方面達到有關的要求。]
申請人須具責任感、積極進取和熱心工作;品格良好、為人正直;有志於教育服務;以及能以中、英文有效溝通。
持有香港以外學術機構所頒授學歷的申請人,請隨申請書夾附有關學術機構所簽發的文憑/證書、成績單及列明有關課程的授課形式(例如全日制/兼讀制、在當地院校上課/遙距授課等)的證明文件副本。申請人也應盡可能提供所有其他有關的學歷證明文件副本,以便進行學歷評審。至於持有本地學歷的申請人,亦須付上列明其修讀學位及師資培訓(如適用)課程時主修及副修科目的證明文件副本。申請人請呈交教師語文能力評核證書或獲豁免通知書的影印本。
Candidates should have -
(a) a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education majoring in English Language, or equivalent; and
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Notes (1) to (4)].
(c) attained 'Level 3' proficiency or above in English Language in the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers (LPAT) or are exempted from the said language proficiency requirement.
[Remarks : The entry requirements set out above are applicable to English Language teachers appointed in or after the 2004/05 school year. For serving English Language teachers holding a permanent post in local public sector and private primary day schools which offered a full curriculum before the 2004/05 school year, they should have a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education or equivalent. All candidates should possess the requisite results in CRE and LPAT. Candidates who are not exempted from the language proficiency requirement by way of qualification but have met, with the exception of classroom language, the basic language proficiency requirement in all the core language skills (i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking) of the LPAT may also apply. However, they have to attain the language proficiency requirement on Classroom Language Assessment of the LPAT within one year from the date of appointment.]
Candidates should be responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic; have a fine character and integrity; be committed to serving in the education field; and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.
For applicants holding qualifications obtained from academic institutions outside Hong Kong, please attach to their application copies of diplomas/certificates, transcripts of studies and official documents issued by the relevant academic institutions that state the mode of delivery (e.g. full time/part time, on campus/distance learning, etc.) of the study programmes. To facilitate the assessment of the qualifications, applicants should provide the above documents for all other relevant qualifications obtained as far as possible. For applicants holding local qualifications, please also attach copies of the documents stating the major and minor subjects studied in their degree and teacher training (as appropriate) courses. Applicants should submit photocopies of certificates of LPAT or letter of exemption from LPAT.
入職條件(註)
(1) 綜合招聘考試的中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」,並以「二級」為最高等級。
(2) 香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績;或香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) (GCE A Level)English Language科「C」級或以上的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。
(3) 申請人若現時並沒有所需綜合招聘考試成績,或同等成績,但已報名參加在二零一五年十月三日在香港舉行的綜合招聘考試也可申請,其申請只會在他們於上述考試取得所需成績後方獲處理。
(4) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上,並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士,在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內,會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。有關考試成績必須在職位接受申請期內其中任何一日有效。
(5) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知,以及在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,所有公務員職位的招聘均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在《基本法》測試(學位/專業程度職系)的成績會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。然而,該測試的成績並不會影響其申請以上職位的資格。原則上,申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合獲聘用的主要因素。
