職責
科學主任(醫務) (聽力服務) 的主要職責包括─
(a) 提供聽力服務；
(b) 評估個別人士的聽覺功能，包括診斷聽力受損的程度及類別；
(c) 為聽力受損人士提供輔導，並為其親屬及／或照顧者提供意見；
(d) 就助聽器的選用及其他適當的治療及康復方法提供意見；
(e) 發展臨床聽力服務以配合當前的需要，包括引用新的技術及／或器材等；及
(f) 員工培訓及監督。
(備註：可能須不定時工作。科學主任(醫務) (聽力服務) 主要在兒童體能智力測驗服務及學生健康服務工作。)

A Scientific Officer (Medical) (Audiological Services) is mainly deployed on –
(a) administering of audiological services;
(b) evaluating the audiological function of persons, including diagnosing the degree and type of impairment;
(c) counselling of hearing-impaired persons and giving advice to their relatives and/or carers;
(d) advising on the selection and use of hearing-aids and other appropriate remedial and rehabilitative measures;
(e) development of the clinical audiological service to meet present day needs, including introducing new techniques, and/or equipment, etc; and
(f) training and supervision of staff.
(Remarks: May be required to work irregular hours. Scientific Officer (Medical) (Audiological Services) mainly works in the Child Assessment Service and the Student Health Service.)

入職條件
申請人必須持有–
(a) 香港任何一所大學頒授的聽力學理科碩士學位，或同等學歷；及
(b) 符合語文能力要求，即在綜合招聘考試的兩張語文試卷(中文運用及英文運用)中取得「一級」成績，或具備同等成績(見註1)。

(b) met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 1” results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent (see Note 1)).
[ Remarks: Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.]

(b) 政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科Ｃ級或以上的成績，會被接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試中國語文科第4級成績;或香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科D級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的一級成績。
(c) 香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第5級或以上成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科C級或以上成績;或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level)(GCE A Level) English Language 科C級或以上成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。香港中學文憑考試英國語文科第4級成績；或香港高級程度會考英語運用科Ｄ級成績；或 GCE A Level English Language 科Ｄ級成績，會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的一級成績。
(d) 在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績的人士，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，會視為已符合科學主任(醫務)(聽力服務)職位的英語能力要求。IELTS考試成績必須在職位申請期內其中任何一日(即2019年5月31日至2019年6月13日)有效。

為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試(學位╱專業程度職系)的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
