A Part-time Air Traffic Control Simulator Operator is mainly deployed

• (a)to operate the pseudo-pilot workstations of the Radar Simulator and Control Tower Simulator;
• (b)to update the database of the simulators and to assist in the preparation of simulator exercises;
• (c)to update teaching material and to assist in the training of pseudo-pilots attending the pseudo-pilot training courses;
• (d)to supervise on-the-job training of pseudo-pilot trainees; and
• (e)to perform any other functions in support of the Training Unit. He/She is expected to work mostly in normal office hours but may be required to work in irregular hours when necessary. He/She is required to provide at least 5 available days between Monday and Friday for duties per month. Working hours per week will normally be less than 18 hours. <br> <br>

Candidates should - <br>

• (a)
  • (i)have Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3

• (ii)have Level 3 or equivalent

• (iii)have Level 2

• (iv)have Level 2 or equivalent

• (b)met the language proficiency requirement of Level 3

• (c)be able to communicate fluently in English; and <br>
• (d)be familiar with computer operations.
