職責
見習工程化驗室技術員主要負責(i) 接受訓練；及(ii)執行物理、化學、輻射、細菌及生物化驗、分析及取樣工作。
(或須到偏遠地區工作；不定時工作及輪班當值包括在公眾假期及法定假日。休息日可能不在週六和週日。)

A Student Engineering Laboratory Technician is mainly deployed on (i) undergoing training; and (ii) undertaking physical, chemical, radiological, bacteriological and biological sampling, examination and analysis. (May be required to work in remote areas, work irregular hours or shifts including general and statutory holidays. Rest day may not be on Saturday and Sunday.)
入職條件
申請人必須(a)(i)持有香港理工學院/理工大學、香港專業教育學院或科技學院/工業學院頒發的化學技術證書，或具備同等學歷；或(ii)在香港中學文憑考試化學科及物理科/組合科學(物理及生物)考獲第3級或以上成績及另有三科[註(1),(2)]考獲第2級或同等或以上成績；或(iii)在香港中學會考化學科及物理科成績達C級或以上；並在香港中學會考其他三科[註(2),(3)]達第2等級/E級或以上成績，或具備同等學歷；及 (b) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科達第2等級或以上成績，或具備同等學歷[註(3)]。

Candidates should have (a)(i) a Certificate in Chemical Technology from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or technical college/technical institute, or equivalent; or (ii) Level 3 or above in Chemistry and Physics /Combined Science (Physics & Biology) and Level 2 or equivalent or above in three other subjects [Note(1),(2)] in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or (iii) Grade C or above in Chemistry and Physics and Level 2/Grade E or above in three other subjects [Note (2), (3)] in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent [Note (3)].
