(a) To plan, organise and conduct Professional Development programme, including courses, workshops and seminars for kindergarten principals and teachers;
(b) To provide school-based support to kindergartens on planning and implementing curriculum plans, exploring effective learning and teaching strategies/activities on English Language learning;
(c) To develop English Language learning and teaching resources and advise kindergartens on the application of resources;
(d) To organise and conduct district-based/regional seminars and experience-sharing workshops and networking activities for dissemination of good practices;
(e) To assist in research and development projects, diagnosis, evaluation and assessment exercises relevant to curriculum development; and
(f) To perform any other duties as and when required by the supervisors for enhancing the quality of language education at pre-primary level.

(a) A Hong Kong Bachelor's degree majoring in English Language, English Language Education or related subject, or equivalent; and a certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent [see Note (ii)];
(b) Met the language proficiency requirement of 'Level 2' results in the two language paper [Use of Chinese (UC) and Use of English (UE)] in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [see Note (iii)];
(c) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience in teaching English Language, curriculum development, teachers professional development and school improvement and/or school support focusing on English Language education at pre-primary or primary level [see Note (iv)]; and
(d) Preference will be given to candidates who have a higher degree in Education or Early Childhood Education, good knowledge of the local education curriculum and system, experience in curriculum and resource development, school support in English Language teaching, and/or research and development projects on English Language education.
