職責
終審法院首席法官官邸合約主廚的主要職責是-
(a) 為終審法院首席法官、其家人以及到訪的賓客準備食材及烹調食物;
(b) 在終審法院首席法官官邸(官邸)及其他地方舉行的官式及社交宴會提供餐飲服務;
(c) 管理官邸的其他廚房員工;
(d) 設計餐單及協助採購食材;及
(e) 負責廚房日常運作,包括處理食物、清潔及保養廚具等工作。
(附註: 終審法院首席法官官邸合約主廚須穿著制服及不定時和逾時工作,包括在晚間、週末及公眾假期工作。如有需要,終審法院首席法官官邸合約主廚或須在位於山頂的官邸留宿,官邸所處地點可乘搭公共交通工具前往。)

The Contract Head Chef in the Chief Justice’s Residence is mainly deployed on -
(a) preparing food and providing cooking service to the Chief Justice, his family and guests;
(b) providing meals for both official and social functions in the Chief Justice’s Residence (the Residence) and any other places as required;
(c) managing other kitchen staff in the Residence;
(d) designing menus and assisting in purchasing food and ingredients; and
(e) undertaking daily kitchen operation, including food handling, kitchen cleaning and maintaining cooking utensils, etc.
(Note: The Contract Head Chef in the Chief Justice’s Residence is required to wear uniform and to work irregular hours and overtime including evenings, weekends and public holidays. He / She may also be required to stay overnight in the Residence located at the Peak, if necessary. The Residence is accessible by public transport.)

(a) 具備最少7年在大戶家庭或大型會所、酒店或高級食肆擔任廚師的經驗;
(b) 具備豐富的烹調中、西菜式技巧以及良好的擺盤技巧;
(c) 具備督導其他廚房員工的能力;
(d) 能以中文及簡單英文有效地溝通; 及
(e) 懂基本電腦文書處理者為佳。
(備註1:申請人所有工作經驗以截止申請日期或之前為準。申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試,必須出示工作經驗證明文件之正本,以證明其已符合上述(a)部分的入職條件。申請人如未能提交所須文件的正本以供核實,其申請將不獲考慮。)

Candidates should –
(a) have at least seven years’ experience in cooking in a large household, club, hotel or high-end restaurant;
(b) have competent culinary skills in Western and Chinese cuisine and good food presentation skills;
(c) be able to supervise other kitchen staff;
(d) be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and simple English; and
(e) ability of basic computer word processing is preferred.
(Remark 1: All work experience required should be obtained on or before the closing date for application. Candidates who are invited for selection interview will be required to produce the original copies of work proof showing that they have met the entry requirements stated in (a) above. If candidates fail to produce the required original copies of work proof for verification, their applications will not be considered.)
(Remark 2: Candidates who are invited for the selection interview will normally receive the invitation within ten weeks from the closing date for application. This period may be longer in exceptional circumstances, e.g. when a large number of applications are received or when there are other complications. In the light of the latest public health situation, the Judiciary may defer the selection interview if the situation warrants. If the selection interview is deferred, candidates will be notified separately. As invitations/notifications will be issued by email or by post, candidates should provide accurate email address and correspondence address and ensure that their email accounts can receive incoming emails properly. Those who are not invited for the selection interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.)
