職責
高級技工(機械)主要被調派擔任監督和指導一組初級人員為機械裝置及設備進行操作／維修及單獨執行操作／維修職務，包括對技能要求較高的維修工作。
A Senior Artisan (Mechanical) is mainly deployed on supervising and directing the work of a team of minor staff in the operation/maintenance of mechanical plants and equipment; and performing operation/maintenance duties independently, including maintenance work which requires higher skills.
入職條件
申請人必須(a)(i)持有工業學院所頒發的機械工程技工證書，或同等學歷；或(ii)已完成機械工程的完整學徒訓練或其他認可實務訓練課程，並在完成學徒訓練／實務訓練後在有關行業有最少兩年經驗；或(iii)有最少六年的機械工程經驗；以及(b)具備相等於小六程度的中英語文能力。
(註：申請人須通過技能測驗。申請人如擁有機械工程範疇的相關工作經驗，將獲優先考慮。)

Candidates should have (a)(i) a craft certificate in Mechanical Engineering from a technical institute, or equivalent; or (ii) completed a full apprenticeship or other approved course of practical training in Mechanical Engineering plus at least 2 years' post-apprentice/training experience in the trade; or (iii) at least 6 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering; and (b) attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard.
(Note: Candidates will be required to pass a trade test. Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant working experience in the Mechanical Engineering field.)
