Associate Medical Technologist
總薪級表第14點（每月港幣30,990元）至總薪級表第24 點（每月港幣50,080元）
職責
副醫務化驗師主要負責－
(a) 執行一般及專門的化驗和試驗工作;
(b) 配製試劑及培養基;
(c) 協助評估化驗方法和設備、監測會影響公眾健康的傳染病及相關研究;
(d) 參與質素保證工作，實施化驗所的安全措施和設備的保養;及
(e) 代理醫務化驗師掌管醫務化驗所一個組別的工作。
[備註：可能須要不定時工作。]

An Associate Medical Technologist is mainly deployed on –
(a) performing general and specialised medical laboratory tests and examinations;
(b) preparing reagents and media;
(c) assisting in evaluation of testing methodologies and equipment, surveillance of infectious diseases of public health significance and research;
(d) contributing to quality assurance activities, implementation of laboratory safety measures and equipment maintenance; and
(e) deputising Medical Technologists in charge of a section of a medical laboratory.
[Remark: May be required to work irregular hours.]

入職條件
申請人必須－
(a) 持有香港理工學院╱理工大學的醫療化驗科學高級文憑，或持有根據香港法例第 359 章《輔助醫療業條例》可於醫務化驗師註冊名冊第I部分註冊的學歷，或具備同等學歷[註(1)]；
(b) 根據香港法例第359章《輔助醫療業條例》的規定，按註冊名冊第II部分在香港註冊成為醫務化驗師[註(1)]；
(c) 持有由香港醫務化驗師管理委員會簽發的有效執業證明書[註(1)]；
(d) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科獲第「2」級或以上的成績，或具備同等成績[註(2)]；及
(e) 在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[註(3)]。

Candidates should have –
(a) a Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from Hong Kong Polytechnic/Polytechnic University or a qualification registrable in Part I of the Register of Medical Laboratory Technologists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance (Cap. 359), or equivalent [Note (1)];
(b) registered in Hong Kong as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Part II of the Register of Medical Laboratory Technologists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance (Cap. 359) [Note (1)];
(c) a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board of Hong Kong [Note (1)];
(d) met the language proficiency requirements of “Level 2” or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note (2)]; and
(e) a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) [Note (3)].

(1) 正在修讀最後一年課程並預期可符合有關入職條件的應屆畢業生也可申請。如獲錄用，申請人必須符合所需入職條件方會獲得聘任。
(2) 政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）「C」級及「E」級的成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第「3」級和第「2」級的成績。
(3) 政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
