• (a)To assist in coordinating and implementing mental health initiatives under the Advisory Committee on Mental Health;
• (b)To assist in overseeing and coordinating the publicity and public engagement efforts of the Advisory Committee on Mental Health;
• (c)To assist in formulating and monitoring the budgets of mental health-related programmes, as well as following up on their implementation and progress;
• (d)To provide secretariat support services to the Advisory Committee on Mental Health and its working groups;
• (e)To communicate and collaborate with relevant government bureaux/departments, non-governmental organisations and stakeholders to coordinate and implement mental health-related policies and initiatives; and
• (f)To assist in formulating and implementing new mental health initiatives or perform other duties as required.

Candidates should possess –

• (a)a bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
• (b)at least 12 years of post-degree full-time work experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior executive positions in the Government or public sector. Work experience in formulating and implementing initiatives related to healthcare services would be an advantage. (Note 1);
• (c)excellent leadership and analytical skills, with strong expertise in project planning and management, as well as extensive relevant experience;
• (d)excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• (e)sound knowledge of the nature of work and operations of the Government or public sector; and
• (f)good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with Level 3 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent qualifications (Note 2).
