職責
技術主任主要負責執行電機、電子、機械、生產、土木及結構工程和電訊範疇內各項有關精密標準與校正／產品標準／認可／品質控制和測試的技術工作。
A Technical Officer is mainly deployed on performing technical assignments on precision standards and calibration / product standards / accreditation / quality control and testing work in the areas of electrical, electronics, mechanical, production, civil and structural engineering and telecommunications.
入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有本港理工大學／學院或香港專業教育學院／科技學院／工業學院頒發的機械工程／工業工程／生產工程／製造工程／輪機工程／應用科學／電機工程／電子工程／電訊學／土木工程／結構工程文憑或高級證書，或同等學歷；以及(b)符合語文能力要求，即香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科成績均達第二等級或以上，或具備同等學歷。註
Candidates should have (a) a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Marine Engineering / Applied Science / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Telecommunications / Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic or the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent. 入職條件(註)
政府在聘任公務員時，過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) E級的成績，在行政上會被視為等同二零零七年及其後舉行的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第二等級的成績。
(備註：為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。應徵者如獲邀參加遴選面試，會被安排參加基本法筆試。筆試會於面試前或後舉行。應徵者在基本法知識測試的表現，會用作評核整體表現的其中一個考慮因素。)
