• (i)To assist in collecting, coordinating, compiling and auditing records relating to vegetation maintenance, tree risk assessment, tree failure, planting works and vegetation data;
• (ii)To assist in conducting site checking of the progress and quality of vegetation maintenance works;
• (iii)To assist in addressing enquiries relating to vegetation maintenance and follow up with relevant parties;
• (iv)To attend meetings relating to vegetation maintenance; to prepare records and follow up with relevant action parties;
• (v)To liaise with relevant parties to facilitate the management of vegetation maintenance works; and
• (vi)To perform any other duties assigned as appropriate.

Candidates should have -

• (a)
  • (i)a degree in Arboriculture, Agriculture, Biology, Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Management or relevant subjects from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent (Entry Pay : $24,615) ; or
  • (ii)at least 5 years of practical experience in tree or landscape field and Level 2 (Note 1)/Grade E or above in five subjects (Note 2) including Biology or Geography in the HKCEE, or equivalent; or Level 2 (Note 3) or above in five subjects including Biology / Combined Science (Biology & Physics) / Combined Science (Chemistry & Biology) or Geography in the HKDSEE, or equivalent (Entry Pay :$21,260).

AND

• (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent (Note 1).
