To (a) undertake specific assignments and support CPU in conducting research on political, social, economic issues and / or public opinion and media in Hong Kong or Mainland China; (b) prepare briefs, think pieces, and reports; and (c) organize focus groups and seminars.

Applicants should have (a) (i) a good honors degree, preferably in the social sciences, from a local or overseas university or equivalent; or (ii) a postgraduate degree preferably in the social sciences, from a local or overseas university or equivalent (possession of a doctorate will be an advantage); (b) at least 5 years’ relevant post-degree research or working experience in academic or regional studies, public policy or public affairs; (c) strong interest in public affairs and policy; and (d) good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently and responsibly.
