技工
Artisan
總薪級表第5點(每月14,905元)至總薪級表第8點[註](每月17,995元)。

職責
技工主要負責－
(a) 測試、檢查及維修消防車輛的機械系統，包括引擎、變速箱、制動系統、液壓系統、電力與電子系統及空調系統等，以及救援裝備；以及
(b) 執行車輛修理及改裝工作，以及獲指派的其他相關職務。
[註：技工可能須輪班和不定時工作及穿着制服／防護衣物。]
An Artisan is mainly deployed on –
(a) testing, inspecting and repairing vehicle mechanical systems including the engine, gearbox, braking system, hydraulic system, electrical and electronic system, air conditioning system, etc., of fire appliances and rescue equipment; and
(b) carrying out vehicle recovery and modification works, and other relevant jobs assigned.
[Note: An Artisan may be required to work shifts and irregular hours and wear uniforms/protective clothing.]
入職條件
申請人必須符合以下條件：
1. (a) 已完成機械、電力／電子或汽車工程方面的正式學徒訓練；或
(b) 具備四年有關行業的實務經驗；
2. 完成小六課程或具同等學歷；以及
3. 中、英語文能力達小六程度。
【註 (i) 申請人在本職位截止接受申請當天(即二零一六年五月五日)，必須已取得上述所需的學歷資格。
(ii) 申請人須通過有關行業的技能測試。
(iii) 申請人如持有有效的香港駕駛執照，會是有利的條件。】
Candidates should have :
(1) (a) completed a full apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical/electronic, or automobile engineering; or
(b) 4 years’ practical experience in a relevant trade;
(2) completed Primary 6 education, or equivalent; and
(3) attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard.
[Note: (i) By the closing day of the application period (i.e. 5 May 2016), applicants must possess the relevant academic qualifications as set out above.
(ii) Candidates will be required to pass a relevant trade test.
(iii) Possessing a valid Hong Kong driving licence is an advantage.]

為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
