二級醫務化驗員
Medical Laboratory Technician II
總薪級表第8點（每月港幣18,840元）至總薪級表第21點（每月港幣37,570元）。如以往的相關工作經驗超逾所規定的最低入職條件，或會根據其相關經驗考慮給予增薪點[註(1)及(2)]。
職責
二級醫務化驗員之職責主要負責一般及專門的化驗工作、品質控制、配製試劑及培養基，並協助評估化驗方法和設備、監測會影響公眾健康的傳染病及相關研究。
備註：可能須要不定時工作。
A Medical Laboratory Technician II is mainly deployed on performing general and specialised laboratory tests, quality control, preparation of reagents and media, and assisting in evaluation of testing methodologies and equipment, surveillance of infectious diseases of public health significance and research.
Remark : May be required to work irregular hours.
入職條件
申請人必須－
(a) 持有香港醫務化驗師管理委員會認可院校的醫療化驗科學文憑，或具備同等學歷；
(b) 根據香港法例第359章《輔助醫療業條例》的規定，按註冊名冊第II部份在香港註冊成為醫務化驗師；
(c) 持有由香港醫務化驗師管理委員會簽發的有效執業證明書；及
(d) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科獲第「2」級或以上的成績，或具備同等成績[註(3)]。
Candidates should have –
(a) a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from an institute recognised by the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board of Hong Kong, or equivalent;
(b) registered in Hong Kong as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Part II of the Register of Medical Laboratory Technologists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance (Cap. 359);
(c) a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board of Hong Kong; and
(d) met the language proficiency requirements of "Level 2" or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [Note (3)].
入職條件(註)
(1) 視乎當時的情況，本署或會根據申請人的相關工作經驗考慮給予增薪點。相關工作經驗指根據香港法例第359章《輔助醫療業條例》的規定，按註冊名冊第II部份在香港註冊成為醫務化驗師後在醫務化驗方面的全職工作經驗。
(2) 現時任職衞生署並屬二級醫務化驗員職級的公務員所遞交的申請，一般不會獲得考慮。
(3) 政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）「C」級及「E」級的成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第「3」級和第「2」級的成績。
(4) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
