技工主要職責包括(a)建造及維修行人徑及遠足徑；(b)建造及維修郊野公園設施；(c)監督承辦商的中介公司僱員；(d)進行木工、鋪設水管、混凝土和石塊，以及油漆工作；(e)執行預防山火的職務；(f)砍伐／修剪樹木及處理木材；(g)操作、調節及維修工具及器材；(h)使用化學品以防治害蟲和雜草；(i)進行與苗圃有關的工作；(j)備存每日工作記錄；(k)協助督導和培訓初級人員；以及(l)履行其他相關職務。
職責
The Artisan is mainly deployed on
- (a)constructing and maintaining footpaths and hiking trails;
- (b)constructing and maintaining Country Parks facilities;
- (c)supervising agency workers of contractors;
- (d)carrying out carpentry, plumbing, concrete, stone and painting work;
- (e)carrying out hill fire prevention work;
- (f)felling/pruning trees and treating timber;
- (g)operating, adjusting and maintaining tools and equipment;
- (h)applying chemicals for pest and weed control;
- (i)carrying out tree nursery work;
- (j)keeping daily job records;
- (k)assisting in the supervision and training of junior staff; and
- (l)carrying out other relevant duties.
入職條件
合資格申請者必須：(a)具備小六程度學歷；(b)具有最少3年相關工作經驗；(c)能閱讀及書寫簡單中文，並能操流利廣東話；(d)能閲讀簡單英文；以及(e)通過技能測試。
A qualified applicant should
- (a)have Primary Six education;
- (b)have at least three years’ of work experience in the relevant field;
- (c)be able to read and write simple Chinese and speak fluent Cantonese;
- (d)be able to read simple English; and
- (e)pass a trade test.
