A Supplies Supervisor II is mainly deployed on taking charge of a small-scale departmental store, or assisting the senior officers in general storekeeping and purchasing functions, or rendering support to senior officers in a specific aspect of supply chain related functions and any other related duties. He/she is required to supervise staff under his/her charge and use computer as a tool in the discharge of duties including the use of word processing and spreadsheet software. A Supplies Supervisor II may be required to work shifts and is subject to posting to different bureaux and departments.

Candidates should have –

• (1)(a) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or
• (b)Level 2/ Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; OR
• (2)a Certificate in purchasing and supplies related subjects issued by the Hong Kong Polytechnic/Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the School of Continuing Education of the Hong Kong Baptist University or the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent.

AND met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent.
