• (1)To assist a Contract Senior Knowledge Management Officer (SKMO) to promote and implement knowledge management (KM) in Fire Services Department (FSD);
• (2)To assist in the development of KM in FSD;
• (3)To assist the SKMO to foster the KM culture in FSD through a variety of means;
• (4)To assist the KM Ambassadors to operate of KM Portal and manage the content of the Portal;
• (5)To assist and conduct KM activities for the KM Ambassadors, including but not limited to After Action Review, Story Telling, Narrative Sharing, Expert Locator, etc;
• (6)To perform the daily operation of KM Helpdesk to KM Ambassadors;
• (7)To liaise and support the KM Ambassadors to collect customer feedback;
• (8)To prepare related reports on KM activities, including but not limited to After Action Review, Narrative Sharing, etc.; and
• (9)To undertake any other KM-related duties.

The candidate should -

• (1)have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; candidates having a relevant degree in Knowledge Management will be an advantage;
• (2)have at least one year relevant post-qualification working experience in the administration, management or training field; candidates with experience in knowledge management implementation, including content management and creation of knowledge sharing platform will be an advantage;
• (3)have attained Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (see Note); and
• (4)be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
