職責
檢控主任主要被調派擔任下列的工作：(a) 處理初級聆訊的法庭程序；(b) 評估有關本部門所執行法例的檢控案件資料；(c) 撰寫案情摘要，於聆訊時呈交法庭；(d) 協助高級農林督察(檢控)經雜項程序向裁判法院申請充公已檢取的瀕危物種和其他物品；(e) 協助高級農林督察(檢控)/政府律師/外判律師處理審訊工作；(f) 協助高級農林督察(檢控)準備將會交付法庭審閲的警誡供詞和任何文件證物的翻譯本，以便交由司法機構翻譯核證組核證；(g) 安排控方證人出席聆訊和出示證物；(h) 處理控罪案件的檢控並於有需要時在非辦公時間工作；(i) 保存和更新案件的記錄和資料，包括已審結及等候聆訊的案件；以及(j) 執行上級派遣的任何其他職務。
A Prosecution Officer is mainly deployed on (a) conducting court proceedings at preliminary hearings in Magistrates’ Courts; (b) assessing the case materials relating to the legislations enforced by the Department; (c) preparing brief facts of case for submission to court for hearing; (d) assisting SFO(P)s to make applications to Magistrates’ Courts for forfeiture of seized endangered species and other articles through miscellaneous proceedings; (e) assisting SFO(P)s/government counsels/counsels-on-fiat in trial hearings; (f) assisting SFO(P)s to prepare translated cautioned statements and any documentary evidence, which are intended to be tendered in court, for certification by the Judiciary Translation/Certification Office; (g) arranging the attendance of prosecution witnesses and the production of exhibits; (h) handling charge cases and may work during non-office hours; (i) keeping records and up-to-date information of all cases that have been tried or are awaiting court hearings; and (j) performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
入職條件
申請人必須(a)(i)持有本港理工學院／理工大學或香港專業教育學院／工業學院／科技學院所頒發的高級文憑，或具同等學歷；及(ii)擁有最少5年擔任檢控主任的工作經驗；或(b)(i)持有本地大學所頒發的法學學士學位，或具同等學歷；及(b)(ii)擁有最少3年從事法律相關或司法機構的工作經驗；及(c)具備良好中文及英文的書寫及口語能力，並符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第3級/C級或以上成績，或具備同等學歷。
A candidate should have (a)(i) higher diploma from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; and (ii) at least five years of working experience as a Prosecutor; or (b)(i) a Bachelor’s degree in law or legal studies from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; and (ii) at least three years’ working experience in legal industry or Judiciary; and (c) possess good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, with Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Grade C / Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
