行動及訓練主任主要負責下列工作：
- (a)在中隊層面為行動及訓練組及民眾安全服務隊（輔助部隊）提供行政支援；
- (b)舉辦為民安隊隊員、少年團員、政府部門人員和非政府機構而設的訓練和活動，並為公眾籌辦教育活動；
- (c)執行與災害和大型緊急事故相關的行動任務和應急服務；
- (d)監督民安隊場地的使用狀況；以及
- (e)管理和監督行動及訓練助理員的表現。
申請人如獲錄用，須加入民眾安全服務隊成為該輔助部隊隊員。他／她或須不定時工作，包括晚上、周末和公眾假期，並須要穿著制服。

Operations and Training Officer
總薪級表第11點（每月港幣26,185元）至總薪級表第28點（每月港幣60,100元）。
職責
An Operations and Training Officer is mainly deployed on -
- (a)providing administrative support to an Operations and Training Section and the Civil Aid Service (CAS) (Auxiliary Service) at company level;
- (b)conducting training and activities for CAS members and cadets, staff of government departments and non-governmental organisations and organising educational programmes for the general public;
- (c)performing operational duties and emergency services related to disasters and major emergencies;
- (d)supervising the use of CAS accommodation; and
- (e)managing and supervising the performance of Operations and Training Assistants.
On appointment, a successful candidate is required to become a member in the CAS Auxiliary Service. He / she may be required to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and general holidays, and is required to wear uniform.

(c)具備教學能力並能策劃和籌辦訓練活動，以及能督導他人；
(d)具備民防、青少年服務、戶外活動的一般知識，或正規認可的工藝才能；以及
(e)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績。
Candidates should have:

- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2

- (c)an aptitude for teaching and the ability to plan and organise training activities, and to supervise others;
- (d)general knowledge of civil defence, youth work, outdoor activities or a properly established workmanship; and
- (e)a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test.
入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目（最多計算兩科）「達標並表現優異」成績，以及其他語言科目C級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第3級成績；香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目（最多計算兩科）「達標」成績，以及其他語言科目E級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第2級成績。
- (2)有關科目可包括中國語文科及英國語文科。
- (3)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
- (4)初步入選的申請人會獲邀參加與工作相關的表現測試。申請人必須通過每項測試，方可進入遴選程序的下一階段及最終面試。申請人必須通過體能及職能測試，方會獲得聘任。
- (5)政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。
- (6)如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
