• 1.To assist in investigation of complaints against employment agencies through collection of information/evidence and assist case officers in assessing merits of the cases, including taking statements from job-seekers (including foreign domestic helpers), employers, representatives of employment agencies as well as other parties concerned;
• 2.To assist in conducting inspection visits to employment agencies and collecting documents/records for complaint investigation and detection of irregularities; and
• 3.To conduct promotional visits, answer telephone enquiries and assist in conducting research relating to regulation of employment agencies.

Applicant should have met the following requirements:

• 1.Academic Qualifications:
• (a)Level 2 or equivalent (Note 1) or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; or
• (b)Level 2 (Note 3)/Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note 2), or equivalent.

• 2.Language Proficiency Requirements:
• (a)Level 2 (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; and
• (b)Good command of Chinese and English, both written and oral.

• 3.Other Requirement:
• (a)At least 5 years’ experience in criminal investigation within recent 10 years, preferably in fraud, collusion or commercial crimes investigation.

Additional Requirements:

• (a)Basic legal knowledge preferred; and
• (b)Basic knowledge in computer operations, especially in word processing and spreadsheet applications preferred.
