• (a)To oversee and advise on the implementation of the Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme;
• (b)To oversee and advise on the conservation proposals and minor works improvement projects in the remote countryside areas;
• (c)To collaborate with relevant bureaux and departments to review the licensing requirements and procedural guidelines for guesthouses and catering businesses in the countryside areas;
• (d)To oversee resource allocation, staffing, and administrative governance of the relevant Division; and
• (e)To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Applicants: –

• (a)should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
• (b)should have a good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English, and be able to communicate fluently in Cantonese and English;
• (c)should have at least 15 years of relevant work experience in public bodies or large-scale corporations, of which at least 10 years should be at a senior leadership level with proven performance. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of government policies and administrative procedures, and experience in business facilitation, workflow streamlining, or formulating rationalisation proposals for government bureaux or departments will be considered an advantage; and
• (d)having at least 5 years of working experience in planning and management of heritage conservation, village revitalization, or environmental projects, particularly in countryside areas, will be considered an advantage.
