• (a)Providing supervisory oversight and guidance in the Kai Tak Division (KTD), including monitoring operations and resolving immediate issues, with a focus on extended coverage amid increased activity;
• (b)Developing and delivering training programs for new Duty Operations Officers, including hands-on sessions, simulations, and performance evaluations;
• (c)Collaborating with Deputy Managers and Assistant Managers of the Flight Operations Section to design and implement mechanisms for accommodating dynamic operational plans, such as adaptive scheduling, resource optimization, and protocol updates;
• (d)Acting as a liaison with external operators in the KTD to ensure seamless coordination and resolve operational challenges;
• (e)Supporting the KTD radio system upgrade by coordinating with technical teams, assisting in system testing, and training staff on new communication protocols; and
• (f)Assisting in daily operational coordination as needed.

Candidates should have:

• (a)At least 20 years of experience as Search and Rescue (SAR) aircrew;
• (b)A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within an operational command and control centre;
• (c)Strong understanding of operational protocols, risk management, team training methodologies, and communication systems; and
• (d)Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision making skills.
