職責
實驗室服務員之主要職責為-
(a) 將所有實驗室設備、儀器、工作檯、架和櫃等進行消毒和清潔;
(b) 收集、分類、處理及製備病理實驗室或法醫病理實驗室的樣本以供進一步處理;及把具有潛在傳染性的實驗室廢物消毒後棄置;
(c) 協助進行實驗室設備及用具的日常操作,及安排定期保養;
(d) 協助醫療人員及技術人員預備及進行化驗、製備簡單試劑和處理實驗室表格/物品;
(e) 飼養、照顧和處理化驗用動物,及有關的消毒和棄置工作;
(f) 製造咬合蠟堤和印模匙,複製石膏牙模,修補牙托和添加義齒,協助打磨和清潔牙托,收發牙箱;以及
(g) 預備訓練/製作用途的教材。
備註:
(1) 須穿著制服;
(2) 須不定時工作及輪班工作;
(3) 須在颱風襲港及其他緊急事故時執行職務;及
(4) 按需要派駐到各實驗室執勤。
A Laboratory Attendant is mainly deployed on –
(a) disinfecting and cleansing all laboratory equipment, instruments, benches, shelves, cabinets, etc;
(b) collecting, sorting, handling and preparation of specimens of the pathology laboratories or the forensic pathology laboratories for further processing; and disinfecting potentially infectious laboratory waste before subsequent disposal;
(c) assisting in the daily operation of and arranging regular maintenance of laboratory equipment and tools;
(d) assisting medical and technical staff in preparing for and performing laboratory tests, preparing simple reagents and processing laboratory forms/ items;
(e) breeding and taking care of animals and handling of animals for laboratory tests, disinfection and disposal;
(f) constructing wax bite blocks and special trays, pouring of models, repairing and addition of tooth to dentures, assisting in polishing and cleaning of dentures, receiving and dispatching of denture boxes; and
(g) preparing materials for training/ production uses and booking appointment.
Remarks :
(1) Required to wear uniform;
(2) Required to work irregular hours and shifts;
(3) Required to attend duties during typhoons and emergencies; and
(4) Subject to deployment to various laboratories.
入職條件
申請人必須-
(a) 有最少兩年在臨床/牙科/化學實驗室工作的經驗;及
(b) 具備相當於小六程度的中、英文語文能力。
Applicants should have –
(a) at least 2 years' working experience in a clinical/ dental/ chemical laboratory; and
(b) attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English languages equivalent to Primary 6 standard.

(1) 可能須要通過技能測驗。
(2) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,所有公務員職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。獲邀參加遴選面試的申請人,其對《基本法》的認識會在面試中以口頭提問形式被評核。除非兩位申請人的整體表現相若,招聘當局才會參考申請人在《基本法》知識測試中的表現。原則上,申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被聘用的主要因素。
