助理小學學位教師主要負責以下職務：
- (a)在官立小學任教高年級班別；以及
- (b)擔當領導角色，在官立小學積極推動落實各項教育新措施。
備註：本局會根據官立小學不時調整的運作需要，以及獲取錄人員的學歷和經驗，調派他們任教指定科目。他們或須任教並非其在申請書內指明的科目。

Assistant Primary School Master/Mistress (Chinese Language)
總薪級表第15點 (每月港幣24,450元) 至總薪級表第29點 (每月港幣47,290 元)。[參閱附註(b)及(c)]
職責
Assistant Primary School Masters/Mistresses are mainly deployed on the following types of duties –
- (a)to teach senior classes in government primary schools; and
- (b)to play an active and leading role in implementing the new education initiatives in government primary schools.
Remarks : The Bureau, in deploying a successful candidate to a particular subject, will take into account the operational needs of government primary schools that may be adjusted from time to time, having regard to the candidate's qualification and experience. A successful candidate may be required to teach subjects other than those he/she has indicated in his/her application.
入職條件
申請人必須：
- (a)持有香港頒授主修中國語文的小學教育學士學位，或同等學歷；以及
- (b)符合語文能力的要求，即在綜合招聘考試兩張語文試卷取得「二級」成績(該兩張試卷分別為中文運用及英文運用)，或具備同等成績。[參閱註(1)至(3)]
申請人須具責任感、積極進取和熱心工作；品格良好、為人正直；有志於教育服務；以及能以中、英文有效溝通。
備註：上述入職條件適用於在二零零四／零五學年或其後聘用的中國語文科教師。如申請人是在二零零四／零五學年前已在本地公營學校及提供全面課程的私立日間小學任教的中文科常額教師，則須持有香港頒授的小學教育學士學位(或同等學歷)，以及在綜合招聘考試取得所需成績。
Candidates should have -
- (a)a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education majoring in Chinese Language, or equivalent; and
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 2' results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE), or equivalent [See Notes
- (1)to (3)].
Candidates should be responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic; have a fine character and integrity; be committed to serving in the education field; and be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.
Remarks : The entry requirements set out above are applicable to Chinese Language teachers appointed in or after the 2004/05 school year. For serving Chinese Language teachers holding a permanent post in local public sector and private primary day schools which offered a full curriculum before the 2004/05 school year, they should have a Hong Kong Bachelor of Education degree in primary education, or equivalent; and possess the requisite results in CRE.
入職條件(註)
- (1)綜合招聘考試中文運用及英文運用試卷的成績分為「二級」、「一級」或「不及格」，並以「二級」為最高等級。
- (2)香港高級程度會考中國語文及文化、中國語言文學或中國語文科「C」級或以上的成績會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試中文運用試卷的「二級」成績。香港高級程度會考英語運用科或General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) English Language科「C」級或以上的成績則會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。
- (3)申請人如在International English Language Testing System (IELTS)學術模式整體分級取得6.5或以上，並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6的成績，在IELTS考試成績的兩年有效期內，其IELTS成績可獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的「二級」成績。有關成績必須在職位接受申請的首天(即二零一三年十一月十六日)仍然有效。
- (4)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知，以及在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人在《基本法》測試(學位／專業程度職系)的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。然而，該測試的表現並不會影響其申請以上職位的資格。原則上，申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合獲聘用的主要因素。
