Amenities Assistants III are mainly deployed on (a) arboriculture, plant production, botanical, zoological, aviary maintenance and landscape construction; (b) maintenance of sports centres, parks, playgrounds, roadside amenity areas, stadia, sports grounds, beaches and swimming pools; (c) life-saving and first-aid services; (d) assisting in recreation and sports programme; and (e) supervising minor staff and/or monitoring the performance of contractors in provision of recreational and amenities services. [Notes : Successful candidates should note the following - (1) they are required to work 45 hours net per week (excluding meal breaks), may be required to perform shift duties and work irregular hours (including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays). Actual working hours will be arranged by supervisors; (2) they are subject to posting and transfer, and required to work in remote areas (including outlying islands) at the discretion of the Head of Grade/Department; (3) they may be required to drive motor scooters/cycles/cars on duty; and (4) they may be required to wear uniform.]

Candidates should have (a)(i) Level 2 or equivalent (Note 1) or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; or (ii) Level 2 (Note 3) / Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; and (b) two years’ post-qualification working experience; and (c) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent.
