Technical Officer (Information Technology)
總薪級表第9點（每月17,485元）至總薪級表第22點（每月34,315元）
職責
技術主任(資訊科技)的主要職責是(a)就部門電腦系統及技術設備的操作、維修及改進方面提供技術支援及意見；(b)進行用戶驗收測試，並確定新的用戶需求及系統改善範疇；(c)就電腦系統的維修及改良事宜與系統研發商聯絡；(d)處理系統熱線及求助台查詢；以及(e)擬備和更新用戶指引及訓練教材。
(註：可能須不定時工作，以及在戶外工作。)
A Technical Officer (Information Technology) is mainly deployed on (a) providing technical support and advice to the operation, maintenance and enhancement of departmental computer systems and technical equipment; (b) conducting user acceptance tests and identifying new user requirements and areas for system enhancement; (c) liaising with the system developer on the maintenance and upgrading of computer systems; (d) handling the system Hotline and Helpdesk enquiries; and (e) preparing and updating user guides and training materials.
(Note : May be required to work irregular hours and perform outdoor duties.)
入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有香港一所理工大學╱理工學院或香港專業教育學院╱科技學院╱工業學院所頒發的資訊科技或電腦科學文憑或高級證書，或具同等學歷；以及(b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績[請參閱註(1)]；並能以中文和英文溝通。
Candidates should have (a) a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Information Technology or Computer Science from a Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic or the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note (1)]; and be able to communicate in Chinese and English.
入職條件(註)
(1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。
(2)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。應徵者如獲邀參加遴選面試，會被安排於面試當日參加基本法筆試。筆試會於面試開始前或結束後舉行。應徵者在基本法知識測試的表現，會用作評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素。
