(a) To provide school-based support services on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, Mathematics (STEAM) education/values education for secondary schools;
(b) To develop and disseminate effective learning, teaching and assessment strategies as well as curriculum resources for enhancing student learning;
(c) To develop and enhance the professional capacity of curriculum leaders and to organise professional development activities for schools to facilitate their curriculum development;
(d) To facilitate the conceptualisation of evidence-informed practices to generate contextual knowledge in curriculum planning, learning and teaching and assessment; and
(e) To assist in administrative duties of the Section.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in subjects relevant to Science, Technology or Engineering, or equivalent [See Note (i)];
(b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (ii)];
(d) At least 6 years' relevant post-qualification experience [as specified in (a) and (b) above] in teaching and/or curriculum development and assessment in secondary schools [See Note (iv)];
(e) Good knowledge of the local education system and the curriculum reform; and
(f) May be required to take written test on the day of selection interview.
