成功之申請人將須獨立進行深入的經濟研究及撰寫研究報告，工作範圍包括： （a） 就香港及其主要貿易伙伴進行經濟分析及研究； （b） 就香港的策略性行業進行聚焦及深入的研究工作； （c） 就政府各類政策及計劃提供分析支援及專業意見； （d） 為政府經濟顧問提供其他分析及研究工作。
職責
Successful candidate
- (s)will have to undertake in-depth economic research independently and produce reports on one or more of the following aspects :
- (a)to conduct economic research and analysis on Hong Kong economy and its major trading partners;
- (b)to conduct focused and intensive studies on strategic sectors of the Hong Kong economy;
- (c)to provide analytical support and render professional advice on various government policies and projects; and
- (d)any other analysis and research work as directed by the Government Economist.
入職條件
- (a)本港大學所頒授的經濟學碩士或以上學位，或同等學歷（如具經濟學博士學位者更佳）；
- (b)具有優良的中、英文書寫及言語能力； 及
- (c)具五年或以上全職經濟分析或相關工作經驗（如曾於學術或研究機構從事經濟研究工作，並具良好的高級經濟計量模型知識及相關經驗者更佳）「見註」。
- (a)a postgraduate degree in Economics from a Hong Kong university or equivalent (doctoral degree in Economics preferable);
- (b)a high level of competency in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- (c)at least 5 years of full-time economic analysis or related working experience (economic research experience with academic or research institutions as well as good knowledge and experience in high-powered econometric modelling preferable) [See Note below].
