• (i)assist in examining the design submissions and other deliverables prepared by the Design and Build (D&B) contractor related to the New Broadcasting House to be built at Tseung Kwan O;
• (ii)assist in planning, monitoring and supervising routine maintenance of building services systems in existing broadcasting house and other RTHK premises;
• (iii)investigate building services related matters in the existing broadcasting house and other RTHK premises and to make recommendations for remedial actions; and
• (iv)assist in preparing technical specification and requirements, monitoring and supervising the improvement / engineering works in RTHK premises.

Candidates should have -

• (a)
  • (i)an accredited Higher Diploma or an accredited Associate Degree, preferably in Building Services / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 3 years’ experience in installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of E&M systems; OR
  • (ii)an accredited Diploma, preferably in Building Services / Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 5 years’ relevant experience; AND
• (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [see Note].

Candidates who possess –

• (i)knowledge of statutory regulations related to building services;
• (ii)experience in maintenance of building services installations;
• (iii)experience in project development for Radio and/or TV broadcast studios; and/or
• (iv)sound knowledge of computer operations in MS Word, Chinese Word Processing, Excel and Powerpoint

will have an advantage.
