獲取錄者會負責執行下述職責：(i)管理一組系統分析主任和系統分析及程序編製主任；(ii)提供諮詢支援服務；(iii)就新項目進行可行性研究，並擬備可行性研究報告、撥款申請及項目推行後的檢討報告；(iv)評審資訊系統及服務方面的要求；(v)管理和推行應用系統；(vi)確保系統成品的質素；(vii)協調和管制更改要求；(viii)籌劃訓練課程；(ix)制訂和執行資訊科技標準；(x)管理電腦合約；(xi)協調中央電腦服務的使用安排；以及(xii)推行數據保密及保護措施，並執行相關的法例規定。如有需要，資訊科技經理須候召執行支援及其他工作，以及在正常辦公時間以外工作。

Information Technology Manager (Application System Development and Support)

職責
Successful candidates will be deployed on:
- (i)managing a team of Systems Analysts and Analyst Programmers;
- (ii)providing consultancy support;
- (iii)conducting feasibility study of new projects, preparation of feasibility study reports, funding requests and post-implementation review reports;
- (iv)vetting requests for information systems and services;
- (v)management and implementation of application systems;
- (vi)ensuring quality of system deliverables;
- (vii)co-ordinating and controlling change requests;
- (viii)planning training programmes;
- (ix)developing and enforcing IT standards;
- (x)administering computer contracts;
- (xi)co-ordinating the use of bureau services; and
- (xii)enforcing data privacy and data protection measures and legislative requirements. An Information Technology Manager is required to perform on-call support and other duties, and work outside normal working hours if necessary.
入職條件
申請人須(a)持有香港學位，或同等學歷，而所選修學系必須為電腦科學／電腦學，或同等學歷；(b)於香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科考獲第2級或以上成績及英國語文科考獲第3級或以上成績[見附註(1)]，或具同等成績；(c)於取得學歷資格後，具備至少八年資訊科技工作經驗，包括三年有關項目管理、兩年有關資訊科技服務採購與合約管理及兩年有關統籌與外間服務供應商一起開發應用系統工作的經驗；以及(d)具卓越的解難及分析能力；善於談判、溝通和處理人際關係；並具備優秀的英文書寫能力及能操流利英、粵語。申請人如已取得PRINCE2 Practitioner或Project Management Professional資格，可獲優先考慮。獲選參加面試者或須於面試前進行英文筆試。
Candidates should have
- (a)a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Computer Studies, or equivalent;
- (b)Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and Level 3 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [see Note (1)], or equivalent;
- (c)at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience in the IT industry including 3 years in project management, 2 years in procurement of IT services and contract management, and 2 years in coordination of application system development activities with external service providers; and
- (d)strong problem solving and analytical skills; strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills; and excellent command of written English and good command of spoken English and Chinese. Candidates who have attained the credential of PRINCE2 Practitioner or Project Management Professional are preferred. Candidates may be required to attend an English written test before the interview.
