(i) Perform editing, gathering and reporting of local, financial and international news; translate and rewrite wired news; (ii) Produce multimedia news programs and news-related specials to meet the needs of various platforms, including radio, television, mobile phones and news websites; (iii) to host news-related programmes. (Note: The post-holder is required to work on shift and overnight.)

Candidates should have - (a) (i) a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent; and 6 years' experience in broadcasting or journalism; OR (ii) an accredited Higher Diploma / Associate Degree, from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 8 years’ experience in broadcasting or journalism; OR (iii) a minimum of 12 years' experience in broadcasting or journalism; AND (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination, or equivalent [See Note (1)]. Candidates who possess - (i) excellent written and spoken Chinese and English plus fluency in Putonghua; (ii) good broadcasting voice; (iii) sound knowledge of current affairs; (iv) good command of computer and Chinese word-processing; (v) proven record in supervising; (vi) proven working experience in planning and production of multimedia or TV news cast; and/or (vii) extensive knowledge of operating multimedia news production equipment will have an advantage.
