- (a)負責督導轄下職員執行職務；
- (b)訓練、指導與監管懲教院所內的在囚人士從事印刷品或相關製作；
- (c)監管工序包括但不限於一般物料預算、印刷前工作(例如影像製稿、製版、排版、校對、色彩及油墨管理等)、印刷工作(例如操作柯式或數碼印刷機及桌上印刷機)、印刷後工作(例如操作切紙機、裝訂、圖書精裝)及品質檢查、生產機器操作及一般保養；
- (d)擬備職業訓練教材及教授有關課程；
- (e)執行職安健守則及相關規例；以及
- (f)執行其他指派職務。 註: 須受《監獄條例》約束、穿著制服，或須輪班當值及在部門宿舍居住。

Technical Instructor (Printing)
一般紀律人員(主任級)薪級表第4點(每月30,540元)至一般紀律人員(主任級)薪級表第14點(每月52,355元)。
職責
- (a)Supervising subordinates in performing their duties;
- (b)training, instructing and supervising persons in custody in correctional institutions engaging in production of all kinds of printed and related items;
- (c)overseeing work processes including material estimation, pre-press work (including image preparation, plate making, page making, proofreading, colour and ink management), printing work (including operation of off-set or digital printing machine and desktop printing machine), post-press work (including operation of guillotine, binding and full binding) and quality assurance, machines and equipment operation and general maintenance;
- (d)preparing vocational training materials and teaching related classes;
- (e)enforcing the Code of Practice of Occupational Safety & Health and related regulations; and
- (f)performing any other duties as assigned.
Note:
Subject to the provisions of the Prisons Ordinance and may be required to wear uniform, work shifts and live in departmental quarters.
入職條件
- (a)完成印刷業或出版業的學徒訓練或院校訓練課程，並能出示證明，顯示具有印刷業或出版業的相關工作經驗[參閱入職條件註(1)]。有關的訓練和工作經驗合共不得少於十年；
- (b)中、英文語文能力相當於中三程度；並能操流利粵語及簡單英語；以及
- (c)須接受及通過印刷的技能測驗[參閱入職條件註(2)]。
- (a)have completed an apprenticeship or institutional training in printing or publishing industries; and be able to furnish evidence that they have had relevant working experience in printing or publishing industries

- (b)have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Form 3 standard; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and simple English; and
- (c)undergo and pass a trade test in printing

- (1)申請人須在申請表格內清楚列明其相關的工作經驗。
- (2)只有通過有關的技能測驗、能力傾向測驗及其後的面試的申請人才會獲考慮聘任。
- (3)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
