三級槍械員主要負責(a)檢查、保養和修理所有槍械；(b)為槍械進行翻修和抗銹工作；以及(c)在警署或警崗執行槍械檢查職務。 <br> <br>(註：香港海關有同等職級的職位，或須借調該部門。)
職責
An Armourer III is mainly deployed on
- (a)checking, maintaining and repairing all arms;
- (b)rebluing and rustproofing weapons; and
- (c)carrying out arms inspection duties in Police stations and posts. <br> <br>(Note : May be required to transfer on secondment to the Customs and Excise Department where a post in the same rank exists.)
入職條件
申請人必須(a)持有本港一所理工大學／理工學院或香港專業教育學院／科技學院／工業學院所頒發的機械工程證書，或具備同等學歷；(b)完成中五學業，或具同等學歷；(c)語文能力程度達香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科第二級[請參閱註(1)]或以上成績，或具同等成績；(d)具備修理機械裝置的經驗；以及(e)通過技能測驗。
Candidates should
- (a)have obtained a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent;
- (b)have completed Secondary 5, or equivalent;
- (c)have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent [see Note (1)];
- (d)possess experience in the repair of mechanical items; and
- (e)pass a trade test.
入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。 <br>
- (2)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
