職責
高級資訊科技主任（網絡及系統支援）主要負責進行下列各類工作—
(a) 支援資訊科技系統和服務（主要是網絡和服務器）的運作和維修工作；
(b) 排除系統故障、分析性能和規劃容量；
(c) 研究和評估最新的產品、工具和方法，以建議具成本效益的解決方案，優化現有環境；
(d) 與持份者和承辦商協調和聯絡，以達到項目／工作的成效；
(e) 分析和遵守香港特別行政區有關資訊科技的規定、政策及指引，以推行資訊科技系統及服務；
(f) 解決保安漏洞和意料之外的技術問題；
(g) 對資訊科技系統和服務（主要是網絡和伺服器）進行可行性研究、概念驗證、系統分析和設計、推行、文件編製、品質控制和保證、測試等；
(h) 管理項目以提高現有環境（主要是網絡和伺服器）的性能、保安和可使用率；
(i) 分析和詮釋用戶需求以提供可行解決方案及擬備相關建議或規格；
(j) 為用戶和團隊的初級人員提供技術諮詢服務和解釋複雜的技術知識；
(k) 按上級要求領導團隊成員／承辦商達到項目／工作的成效；
(l) 協助採購資訊科技產品及服務。
獲取錄的申請人可能須要(a)不定時／在偏遠地區／在惡劣環境下工作；(b)輪班／上班候命／隨時候召／執行緊急職務；以及(c)穿著制服／保護衣物。

An Senior Information Technology Officer (Network and System) is mainly deployed on the following types of work –
(a) supporting the operation and maintenance of IT systems and services (mainly in network and server);
(b) performing troubleshooting, performance analysis, and capacity planning;
(c) researching and evaluating the latest products, tools, and practises to recommend cost-effective solutions for enhancing the existing environments;
(d) coordinating and liaising with stakeholders and contractors for achieving the project/task outcome;
(e) analyzing and following the related IT regulations, policies, and guidelines of HKSARG for IT systems and services implementation;
(f) resolving security vulnerabilities and unexpected technical issues;
(g) performing feasibility study, proof-of-concept, system analysis and design, implementation, documentation, quality control and assurance, testing, etc. for IT systems and services (mainly in network and server);
(h) managing projects for enhancing the performance, security, availability of the existing environments (mainly in network and server);
(i) analyzing and interpreting user requirements to provide viable solutions and produce respective proposals or specifications;
(j) providing technical consultation service and interpreting complex technical knowledge to users and junior teammates;
(k) leading teammates/contractors as required by supervisors for achieving the project/task outcome;
(l) assisting in the procurement process of IT products and services.
Successful candidates may be required - (a) to work irregular hours / in remote areas / in harsh conditions; (b) to perform shift / stand-by / on-call / emergency duties; and (c) to wear protective clothing.

(a) a Higher Diploma or an accredited Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or related IT disciplines from a Hong Kong university/ tertiary institute/ Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or a Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or related IT disciplines from a registered post-secondary college awarded after the date of its registration, or equivalent;
(b) Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note (1)]; and
(c) at least 5 years’ relevant experience in the design, operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, and project management services of sizable enterprise networks, server infrastructure, and data centre.
Candidates who possess –
(a) Knowledge of IT systems and services (mainly in network and server) market research, design, implementation, testing, administration, etc.;
(b) Knowledge of network systems including core, data center interconnect, DNS, network access control, proxy, firewall, internet gateway, network monitoring, VPN appliance, wireless network etc.;
(c) Knowledge of networking techniques including OSPF, BGP, IPSec VPN, SDN, SD-WAN, SNMP, DNSSEC, packet capture, 802.1x, etc.;
(d) Knowledge in server-related services such as LDAP, AD, group policy, etc.;
(e) Knowledge of VM Infrastructure, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI);
(f) Experiences in network system / server farm operation and maintenance;
(g) Experiences in security risk assessment, audit and incident handling;
(h) Experience in implementing a project independently; or
(i) Valid certification of CCNP / CISSP / CISA / PMP / ITIL / VCP or equivalent;
will have an advantage.
