執達主任主要負責以下工作：
- (a)逮捕判定債務人和潛逃中的債務人，並強制執行交付拘押的手令；
- (b)透過扣押財物執行各類命令、令狀及手令，包括扣押債務人財產令狀、為追索欠租而發出的財物扣押令及裁判官手令；開列財物清單，並對財物作出估價及就其出售事宜執行有關的職責；
- (c)進行驅逐行動以取回空置處所及土地的管有權；
- (d)執行向船舶發出的扣押令；
- (e)於法庭、內庭及審裁處出庭作證；及
- (f)送達外地法律程序文件及向船舶送達法律程序文件。
註：
執達主任或須不定時工作。
職責
A Bailiff is mainly deployed on –
- (a)arrest of judgement debtors and absconding debtors and enforcement of Committal Warrants;
- (b)execution of various kinds of Orders, Writs and Warrants, including Writ of Fieri Facias, Distress Warrants for rent, Magistrates Warrants by seizure of property, preparation of inventories and valuation of property and duties in connection with the sale thereof;
- (c)undertaking evictions with a view to obtaining vacant possession of premises and land;
- (d)execution of warrants of arrest against ships;
- (e)attending courts / chambers / tribunals to give evidence; and
- (f)service of foreign legal process and service of court process on ships.
Note:
Bailiff may be required to work irregular hours.

(b)於以下其中一個或多個範疇中，具有五年的工作經驗－
- (i)法律；

- (iii)盤存；及
- (iv)財物估價；
(c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第3級

(d)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試（學歷要求定於完成中學階段程度或以上但低於學位／專業程度職系）取得及格成績

Candidates should have –
- (a)
- (i)Level 2 or equivalent

- (b)five years’ work experience in one or more of the following fields –
- (i)legal;

- (iii)inventory taking; and

- (c)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3

- (d)attained a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test (BLNST) (Non-degree / Non-professional Civil Service Grades at or above Completion of Secondary Education Level)

[Remark (1): All qualifications required should be obtained on or before the application deadline. Qualifications obtained after the application deadline will NOT be considered.
Remark (2): Candidates who are invited for selection interview will be required to produce the original copies of academic and work proof showing that they have met the entry requirements stated above. Remark (3): Candidates who are selected for selection interview will normally receive an invitation in about eight to ten weeks from the closing date for application. 入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目（最多計算兩科）「達標」成績，以及其他語言科目E級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第2級成績。
- (2)有關科目可包括中國語文科及英國語文科。
- (3)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科（課程乙）C級及E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。
- (4)政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在相關的《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
