工藝教導員（皮革工藝）主要負責(a)監管懲教設施內的在囚人士，以及訓練、指導他們從事皮革品或皮鞋生產；(b)監督各項工作流程，包括一般皮革品或鞋面縫紉、鞋品成型、製格、製成品整理及包裝、物料預算、生產計劃及排程、品質保證、生產機器設備操作及保養；(c)協助工藝導師擬備職業訓練教材及教授有關課程；(d)執行職業安全與健康守則及相關規例；以及(e)執行其他指派職務。 註: 獲聘人士須受《監獄條例》約束，以及須要穿著制服或須輪班當值，或在偏遠地區工作及在部門宿舍居住。

Instructor (Leather Work)
紀律人員（員佐級）薪級表第4點（每月25,265元）至紀律人員（員佐級）薪級表第22點（每月43,720元）。
職責
An Instructor (Leather Work) is mainly deployed on
- (a)supervising persons in custody in correctional facilities, and training and instructing those engaging in leather products or footwear production;
- (b)overseeing work processes including sewing of leather products and shoe-uppers, shoe-lasting, pattern making, product finishing and packaging, material estimation, production planning and scheduling, quality assurance, machines and equipment operation and maintenance;
- (c)assisting Technical Instructor in preparing vocational training materials and teaching related classes;
- (d)enforcing the Code of Practice of Occupational Safety & Health and related regulations; and
- (e)performing any other duties as assigned.
Note:
Subject to the provisions of the Prisons Ordinance; the appointee may be required to wear uniform, work shifts, work in remote areas and live in departmental quarters.
入職條件
申請人必須(a)完成有關皮革工藝或製鞋行業的學徒訓練或院校訓練課程；或能出示證明，顯示在皮革品或製鞋生產方面具備至少五年工作經驗[參閱入職條件註(1)]；(b)具備相當於中三程度的中、英文語文能力，並能操流利粵語及簡單英語；(c)接受並通過皮革工藝技能測驗[參閱入職條件註(2)]；及(d)在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績[參閱入職條件註(3)]。
Candidates should
- (a)have completed an apprenticeship or institutional training in leather work or footwear trade; or be able to furnish evidence that they have had at least 5 years’ working experience in leather products or footwear production

- (b)have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and simple English;
- (c)undergo and pass a trade test in leather work

- (d)have a pass result in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test

入職條件(註)
- (1)申請人須在申請書內清楚列明其相關的工作經驗。
- (2)只有通過皮革工藝技能測驗及其後的遴選面試的申請人才會獲考慮聘任。
- (3)政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》及《香港國安法》知識。在《基本法及香港國安法》測試取得及格成績是所有公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法及香港國安法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加《基本法及香港國安法》測試或未曾在《基本法及香港國安法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法及香港國安法》測試。
