(a) assist in improving, refurbishing and maintaining science exhibits and equipment of the Science Museum; (b) operate the exhibit systems and installations; and (c) assist in feasibility tests, equipment and material researches, engineering design, procurement and fabrication of museum exhibits. (Note: May be required to undergo training relevant to the duties; and work irregular hours.)

(a) a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic university / polytechnic or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent; (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [see Note]; and (c) have at least 2 years’ full-time working experience in mechanical engineering design and installation; building services design and installation; mechanical engineering or building services maintenance and repair work; or equivalent.
