(a) To assist the specialists in designing, implementing and evaluating various student support programmes for needy schools; (b) To assist the specialists in planning, implementing and evaluating various training programmes as well as in providing consultation and support to school personnel and parents in managing students' diverse educational needs; (c) To assist the Section Head in the planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of its major projects, in particular, the SBEPS covering both primary and secondary schools; and (d) To provide support to the Section on management of general administrative, financial and staff matters.

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree in Psychology or Education, or equivalent; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent preferred; (c) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note), or equivalent; (d) A minimum of six year's relevant post degree experience in teaching/guidance/research and administrative work in educational settings; (e) Experience in programme development related to supporting children with special educational needs is preferred; and (f) A higher degree or professional qualification relevant to the duties is preferred.
