警察助理電訊督察主要負責(a)協助保養電訊網絡，確保其派駐的工場或部門運作暢順；(b)研發無線電、雷達、聯線通訊、視像、視聽設備及附屬電子設備，並為有關設備進行預測性及預防性的保養和故障檢修；(c)協助管理和監督無線電、雷達、聯線通訊、視像、視聽設備及附屬電子設備的保養合約；(d)安裝和檢驗無線電、雷達、聯線通訊、視像、視聽設備及附屬電子設備；(e)製備工業繪圖／報告，並更新記錄；(f)回覆使用者就資訊通訊科技相關系統／設備的查詢；以及(g)為電訊網絡、視像、視聽設備及附屬電子設備提供行動和服務支援。 <br>(註：須輪班工作及在一般辦公時間以外候命工作。)

Assistant Police Telecommunications Inspector

職責
An Assistant Police Telecommunications Inspector is mainly deployed on
- (a)assisting in the upkeep of the telecommunications networks and ensuring the smooth operation of workshop or section to which they are assigned;
- (b)undertaking the development and predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance of radio, radar, line communications, video, audio and visual equipment and ancillary electronic equipment;
- (c)assisting in the administration and supervision of maintenance contracts of radio, radar, line communications, video, audio and visual equipment and ancillary electronic equipment;
- (d)carrying out installation and inspection of radio, radar, line communications, video, audio and visual equipment and ancillary electronic equipment;
- (e)preparing technical drawings/reports and updating records;
- (f)responding to user enquiries on information communications technology related systems/equipment; and
- (g)providing operation and service support of telecommunications networks, video, audio and visual equipment and ancillary electronic equipment. <br>(Note : Required to work shifts and to be ‘on-call’ outside normal office hours.)
入職條件
申請人必須 (a)持有本港一所理工學院／理工大學或香港專業教育學院／科技學院／工業學院所頒發的電子工程文憑或高級證書，或具備同等學歷；(b)於取得有關學歷後，具備三年安裝、維修及操作電訊或電子設備的經驗；以及(c)語文能力程度達香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科第2級或以上成績，或具同等成績 [請參閱註(1)]；並能操流利粵語及英語。
Candidates should have
- (a)a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electronic Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent;
- (b)3 years’ post-qualification experience in the installation, maintenance and operation of telecommunications or electronic equipment; and
- (c)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) or equivalent [see Note (1)]; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English.

- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課 程 乙) E級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2級成績。 <br>(2)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
