(a) operation, repair and maintenance work related to civil engineering;(b) installation, operation and maintenance work related to mechanical engineering; (c) installation, operation and maintenance work related to electrical engineering; (d) installation, operation and maintenance work related to instrumentation or electronic engineering; (e) operation, repair and maintenance of water treatment works; (f) logistics support in waterworks laboratory including handling and transportation of chemicals, equipment, test samples, stores and stationery items; and (g) general office support duties.
(Note : The post requires performing substantial amount of manual work. A Workman II may be required to undertake on-call/stand-by/emergency duties, work irregular hours, outside normal working hours, and/or shifts and work in remote areas, obnoxious conditions, unfavourable conditions, at reservoirs and/or carry out outdoor work.)

The post is open to both male and female. Candidates should be able to :
(a) communicate in Cantonese/Chinese and simple English; (b) read simple Chinese and simple English; and
(c) write simple Chinese or simple English.
(Note: Candidate will be required to pass a trade test.)
