職責
(i) 見習技術主任（屋宇裝備）主要須接受訓練（包括以下事務的在職訓練）及修讀全日制或部分時間制課程（如部門認為有需要），為期三年：(a)擬備屋宇裝備工程圖則和細則及簡單工程文件；(b)進行工程量度、繪製施工記錄圖或撰寫報告；以及(c)進行簡單工程計算及擬備簡單設計。
(ii) 獲取錄的申請人，可能需要(a)在香港任何地點工作；(b)不定時工作；以及(c)借調到其他政府部門。

(i) A Technical Officer Trainee (Building Services) is mainly deployed on undergoing training including on-the-job training in the following areas and attending full-time or part-time courses, if considered necessary by the department, for a period of three years : (a) preparing building services engineering drawings and details, and simple engineering documents; (b) carrying out engineering measurements and producing record drawings or reports; and (c) making simple engineering calculations and preparing minor design.
(ii) Successful candidates may be (a) required to work in any part of Hong Kong; (b) required to work irregular hours; and (c) posted / seconded to other government departments.

申請人必須(a) (i) 具備香港理工學院／理工大學或香港專業教育學院／工業學院／科技學院所頒發的電機、機械或屋宇裝備工程證書，或同等學歷；或 (ii) 在香港中學文憑考試數學科成績達第3級或以上，以及另外四科，包括物理或綜合科學或組合科學（化學、物理）或組合科學（生物、物理），成績達第2級或以上，或同等學歷 [註(1)]，；或 (iii) 在香港中學會考數學科成績達C級或以上，以及另外四科（包括物理或工程科學）成績達第2級／E級或以上，或同等學歷 [註(1)]；及(b)在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科成績達第2級或以上，或同等學歷 [註(2)]；以及(c) 在《基本法》測試取得及格成績 [註(3)]。

Candidates should have (a) (i) obtained a Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/ polytechnic university, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; or (ii) Level 3 or above in Mathematics and Level 2 or equivalent or above in four other subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) including Physics or Integrated Science or Combined Science (Chemistry, Physics) or Combined Science (Biology, Physics), or equivalent [Note(1)]; or (iii) Grade C or above in Mathematics and Level 2/Grade E or above in four other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education (HKCEE) including Physics or Engineering Science, or equivalent [Note (1)]; and (b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent [Note (2)]; and (c) attained a pass result in the Basic Law Test [Note (3)].

(1) 該科目可包括中國語文科和英國語文科。 (2) 政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙) C級及E級成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年及其後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3級和第2級成績。 (3) 政府會測試所有應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。在《基本法》測試取得及格成績，是學歷要求定於完成中學階段程度或以上但低於學位／ 專業程度的公務員職位的入職條件。申請人必須在《基本法》測試中取得及格成績方會獲考慮聘用。如在滿分100 分中取得53 分或以上（即在15 題中答對8 題或以上），會被視為取得《基本法》測試的及格成績。此外，申請人在《基本法》測試的成績會佔其整體表現評分的一個適當比重。如申請人在申請公務員職位時仍未曾參加《基本法》測試或未曾在《基本法》測試考獲及格成績，仍可作出申請。他們會被安排在招聘過程中參加相關《基本法》測試。
