- (a)負責督導轄下職員執行職務；(b)訓練、指導與監管懲教院所內的在囚人士從事成衣或針織品生產; (c)監督工序包括一般成衣縫紉或針織品織縫、物料預算、紙樣製造、剪裁、整熨、包裝、品質保證、生產機器操作及一般保養；(d)擬備職業訓練教材及教授有關課程；(e)執行職安健守則及相關規例；以及(f)執行其他指派職務。
註：–須受《監獄條例》約束、穿著制服，或須輪班當值及在部門宿舍居住。

Technical Instructor(Garment)
一般紀律人員(主任級)薪級表第4點(每月29,175元)至一般紀律人員(主任級)薪級表第14點(每月50,015元)。
職責
- (a)Supervising subordinates in performing their duties;
- (b)training, instructing and supervising persons in custody in correctional institutions engaging in garment or knitwear production;
- (c)overseeing work processes including sewing, knitting, material estimation, pattern making, cutting, pressing, packing, quality assurance, machines and equipment operation and maintenance;
- (d)preparing vocational training materials and teaching related classes;
- (e)enforcing the Code of Practice of Occupational Safety & Health and related regulations; and
- (f)performing any other duties as assigned.
Note:
Subject to the provisions of the Prisons Ordinance and may be required to wear uniform, work shifts and live in departmental quarters.
入職條件
- (a)完成有關成衣、紡織或針織品行業的學徒訓練或院校訓練課程，並能出示證明，顯示在成衣、紡織或針織品生產方面的相關工作經驗[參閱入職條件註(1)]。有關的訓練及工作經驗合共不得少於十年；(b)中、英文語文能力相當於中三程度；並能操流利粵語及簡單英語；以及(c)須接受並通過能力傾向測驗及製衣的技能測驗[參閱入職條件註(2)]。
- (a)have completed an apprenticeship or institutional training in clothing, textile or knitwear industry; and be able to furnish evidence that they have had relevant working experience in clothing, textile or knitwear production
Note 1 under Entry Requirements] . Total period of training and working experience should not be less than 10 years;
- (b)have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Form 3 standard; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and simple English; and
- (c)undergo and pass an aptitude test and a trade test in garment

入職條件(註)
- (1)申請人須在申請表格內清楚列明其相關的工作經驗。
- (2)如果符合訂明入職條件的申請人人數眾多，招聘部門可以訂立篩選準則，甄選條件較佳的申請人，以便進一步處理。在此情況下，只有獲篩選的申請人會獲邀參加首項遴選程序(即能力傾向測驗/製衣的技能測驗)，而只有通過能力傾向測驗、製衣的技能測驗、及其後的面試的申請人才會獲考慮聘任。
- (3)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
