職責
二級牙科技術員主要負責製作丙烯酸脂牙托和簡單的鉻鈷牙托，以及修理各種牙齒矯正器。
A Dental Technician II is mainly deployed on constructing acrylic and simple chromecobalt dentures and repairing all types of dental appliances.
入職條件
申請人必須－
(a) (i) 持有由香港理工大學或菲臘牙科醫院頒發的牙科工藝文憑，或具同等學歷；或
(ii) 通過由一間認可機構主辦的牙科技術員證書中級考試，或具同等學歷，並有最少四年牙科技工學徒經驗；以及
(b) 符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科考獲第2級[見註(1)]或以上成績，或具同等成績；並能操流利粵語。
Candidates should have –
(a) (i) a Diploma in Dental Technology issued by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or the Prince Philip Dental Hospital, or equivalent; or
(ii) passed the Intermediate Examination for the Dental Technician’s Certificate of a recognised institute, or equivalent, and at least 4 years’ experience as a dental mechanic apprentice; and
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [See Note (1)] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese.
入職條件(註)
(1) 政府在聘任公務員時，2007年前的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)「E」級成績，在行政上會被視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第「2」級成績。
(2) 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。申請人在基本法測試的表現會佔其整體表現的一個適當比重。
(3) 申請人須遞交有關文件的副本以證明其(i)牙科工藝資格；及(ii)語文能力。
(4) 申請人須接受技能測試。
