• (a)perform flying duties as to his/her qualification and level awarded; <br>
• (b)perform Operations Officer duties; and <br>
• (c)carry out related support activities and general duties as required by the department. <br>Note: Will be subject to discipline under the Government Flying Service Ordinance and may be required to wear uniform and work shifts.

Candidates should: <br>

• (a)
• (i)
• (1)have Level 3 (Note 1) or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Mathematics and a science subject, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent; or <br>
• (2)have Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 (Note 2) / Grade C or above in three other subjects, including Mathematics and a science subject in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; (Entry pay: HK$26,075 per month.) or <br>

(ii)

• (1)have Level 3 (Note 1) or above in Mathematics and a science subject, and Level 2 (Note 1) or equivalent or above in three other subjects in the HKDSEE, or equivalent; or <br>
• (2)have Grade C or above in Mathematics and a science subject, and Level 2 (Note 2) / Grade E or above in three other subjects in the HKCEE, or equivalent; (Entry pay: HK$23,535 per month.); <br>
• (b)have met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 (Note 2) or above in English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent, if this subject is not included in

• (c)be able to communicate effectively in Cantonese and oral English; <br>
• (d)pass a vision assessment; <br>
• (e)pass an Air Crewman Officer aptitude test; <br>
• (f)pass an Air Crewman Officer medical examination; <br>
• (g)pass a physical fitness test; and <br>
• (h)pass a swimming test, including assessment on water rescue ability.
