工藝導師(洗燙)主要負責(a)督導轄下職員執行職務；(b)訓練、指導與監管懲教院所內的在囚人士從事洗燙行業工作及操作洗燙設備；(c)監管工序包括但不限於洗滌、烘乾、滾燙、壓燙、物料預算、生產計劃及排程、品質及施工控制、生產機器操作及保養；(d)擬備職業訓練教材及教授有關課程；(e)執行職業安全及健康守則及相關規例；以及(f)執行其他指派職務。 <br>註: 獲聘人士須受《監獄條例》約束，以及須要穿著制服或須輪班當值及在部門宿舍居住。

Technical Instructor (Laundry)
一般紀律人員(主任級)薪級表第4點(每月34,590元)至一般紀律人員(主任級)薪級表第14點(每月59,290元)。
職責
A Technical Instructor (Laundry) is mainly deployed on
- (a)supervising subordinates in performing their duties;
- (b)training, instructing and supervising persons in custody in correctional institutions engaged in work activities of laundry trade and operation of laundry equipment;
- (c)overseeing work processes including but not limited to washing, drying, calendering, pressing, material estimation, production planning and scheduling, quality and work process control, machine operation and maintenance;
- (d)preparing vocational training materials and teaching related classes;
- (e)enforcing the Code of Practice of Occupational Safety and Health and related regulations; and
- (f)performing any other duties as assigned. <br>(Note: Subject to the provisions of the Prisons Ordinance, the appointee may be required to wear uniform, work shifts and live in departmental quarters.)
入職條件
申請人必須(a)完成洗燙工藝、紡 織 品 護 理 或麻布分配及管理的學徒訓練或院校訓練課程，並能出示證明，顯示具有洗燙操作、紡 織 品 護 理 或麻布分配及管理的相關工作經驗[參閱入職條件註(1)]。有關的訓練和工作經驗合共不得少於十年；(b)具備相當於中三程度的中、英文語文能力；並能操流利粵語及簡單英語；以及(c)接受及通過洗燙工藝的技能測驗[參閱入職條件註(2)]。
Candidates should
- (a)have completed an apprenticeship or institutional training in laundry processing, textile care or linen distribution and management; and be able to furnish evidence that they have had relevant working experience in laundry operation, textile care or linen distribution and management
Note 1 under Entry Requirements] . Total period of training and working experience should not be less than 10 years;
- (b)have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and simple English; and
- (c)undergo and pass a trade test in laundry

- (2)只有通過能力傾向測驗、洗燙工藝的技能測驗及其後遴選面試的申請人才會獲考慮聘任。 <br>
- (3)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
